I saw this in person when I was invited to RD precision at Lake Havasu, AZ around May of 2022.
It fitted magazine wells of mil spec forged, all the various race gun billet ar15 billets that he had laying around. Easy to install and the old 9mm surplus stick magazines are so easy to find.

Works great when assembled correctly
I have 2 of these and they work great when assembled correctly. No issues with the first but, the second unit came with the feed ramp installed backwards. After i reinstalled the feed ramp correctly it worked as it should. A little bit of qc should have caught it but not a major problem to fix. I recommend this product.

If you're looking a mag adapter, don't go any further than the original.
Thing works great and is made like a champ. This is the OEM. No reason to spend extra moolah on the same product with another company's stamp on it. With the discounts opticsplanet normally runs, its the cheapest on the market.

New 9mm PCC build
So far it appears perfect. Fit and finish is high quality. Can't evaluate performance since my barrel has been lost in shipment and the build is not complete yet. Comparing it to my Colt Factory AR in 9MM it could be a clone except for the cross pins.

R&D Precision Colt 9mm Magazine Insert for standard AR15 lower
Hey this is as the company name says precision! A very high quality product for a milspec lower that allows it to accept a colt 9mm magazine. Unlike the Glock adapter it gives you last round bolt hold open. For me that is a must. Easy to install and functions perfectly.

Works well
VERY tight figment. Took several minutes adjusting with a nylon hammer to get it lined up correctly. Allows use of original mag release which is better IMO than my Glock mag adapter. ACS and Duramags both work perfectly.

I bought the pro mag insert used it once the last bolt open broken. Dont buy pro mag, get this one

Colt mag insert
It works just as described. I was very skeptical about how well it would function, but I was pleasantly surprised that it did not have a jam or failure to feed and magazine hold open work properly.

Feed issues with MAT-9
I see allot of people are having success with standard blowback AR-9 uppers, But when mated with the Matador MAT-9 I am having serious feed issues. I can’t go more than 4 rounds without a jam. The main issue appears to be that my Duramag 33 round colt mags cannot get fully seated. There is just a little play up and down with the magazine fully inserted. Having used this lower with regular uppers without issue, I can’t help but think it’s the mag adapter. I ended up giving up on the colt mags and went with Endomag converted Pmags. Maybe less cool looking but they do the job right. All in all I wish I had went with the colt branded mag adapter for a few extra bucks, but that’s just my 2 cents.
