Bought this because I couldn't find colt production. This is good quality with bolt hold open and feed lips that work.

This adapter didn’t take long to install and was pretty easy. I used removable thread locker on the two set screws that goes in an angle pressing on the front interior of the magazine well of the lower receiver. There’s another screw that holds down the adapter in the magazine well. The adapter is very secure in the mag well and doesn’t move around at all. The only adjustment I needed to do was bend the ejector in a little bit because the magazine wouldn’t click into place because the ejector was in the way. I just needed to bend it slightly in for the magazine to clear the ejector and have it in the right position to eject the cartridges. I haven’t shot the gun so I don’t know how it actually works while shooting it. I took a mix of round nose and flat point cartridges and ran it through the gun. It mostly fed well except some cartridges, while holding the gun sideways, would make some of the cartridges fall into a void behind the magazine inside the upper receiver. I don’t know if it would do this if I actually shot cartridge through the gun but it happened just working the bold carrier back manually. It fed most of the round-nose and flat-point cartridges into the chamber and ejected them smoothly. I won’t know until I actually shoot the gun. The price was good and it’s well made out of aluminum and steel. It’s very sturdy and doesn’t move inside the magazine well once the set screws are tightened. Worked fine for my needs. I did do the “vampire bite” trick to keep the set screws more secure.

R&D precision, colt mag well adapter, works great.

Fit and function perfectly in an Anderson lower with a FRT. No feed or ejection problems using Duramags.

I have 2 of these and they work great when assembled correctly. No issues with the first but, the second unit came with the feed ramp installed backwards. After i reinstalled the feed ramp correctly it worked as it should. A little bit of qc should have caught it but not a major problem to fix. I recommend this product.

Thing works great and is made like a champ. This is the OEM. No reason to spend extra moolah on the same product with another company's stamp on it. With the discounts opticsplanet normally runs, its the cheapest on the market.

So far it appears perfect. Fit and finish is high quality. Can't evaluate performance since my barrel has been lost in shipment and the build is not complete yet. Comparing it to my Colt Factory AR in 9MM it could be a clone except for the cross pins.

Hey this is as the company name says precision! A very high quality product for a milspec lower that allows it to accept a colt 9mm magazine. Unlike the Glock adapter it gives you last round bolt hold open. For me that is a must. Easy to install and functions perfectly.

VERY tight figment. Took several minutes adjusting with a nylon hammer to get it lined up correctly. Allows use of original mag release which is better IMO than my Glock mag adapter. ACS and Duramags both work perfectly.
