Do not buy this junk. I took a chance buying this because it was a cheap. $97 down the drain. Just buy a kaw valley 9mm bcg. The extractor and bolt head were mishaped. It gave me numerous feeding issues. I thought it was the magazines

Just what the doctor ordered

by Dr. Funkenstein, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on November 22, 2025
I recently built a budget AR-9 and I decided to check my split times with it and they weren’t as fast as I liked so I modified the existing bolt but then needed to shout hotter ammo to maintain reliability. This bolt is what I should of started with, not only did improve my speed and accuracy but it runs with any ammunition

40 S&W BCG works great on full auto

by The Verdugo, from VA, United States Written on December 30, 2022
I have had problems with other 40 S&W BCG on full auto. My last set was having firings out of battery and when doing so, the paddle type extractor would break. Furthermore, nobody who sold the other types of BCG could offer or help to provide replacement extractors as the bolt face and extractor were of a proprietary design. Unfortunately, I was left with dead BCG's (due to missing extractor), no way to fix them and an upper receiver that can't work without a BCG. Never mind the out of battery firings. I searched for some time for other 40 S&W BCG's with a different design. I contacted some manufacturers. Some responded, some didn't. Finally I contacted R&D Precision. They called me back and we had a long talk about my problems. They explained that their BCG design is different and should work better. Upon receiving the BCG, I examined it. It almost fully encases the much smaller extractor length wise and does not serve as a portion of the bolt face as the other BCG designs did. The R&D Precision bolt face is all part of the bolt with the extractor merely being a separate piece inside of the bolt face. I fired multiple mags on full auto, various lengths of bursts and switching back and forth to semi using the same previous upper receiver and ammo. When switching mags, I would release the bolt catch and let the BCG ram forward and rock and roll. I had no issues at all. That tells me the issues were the other BCG designs for sure. If you are going full auto, you need these BCG ...

9mm (Colt) style Bolt Carrier Group. RDPrecisionAZllc works with glock and surplus 9mm magazines

by castanagajt, from NV, United States Written on December 22, 2022
It is truest 9mm bolt carrier group to original successful Colt style 9mm Pistol Caliber Carbine that took the old stick style 9mm colt magazines.

This Does work with pcc builds with Glock 19/17/18/34 any "Glock" style 9mm magazine, as well.

It is blow back and black nitride coated. The extractor is like a (1911 extractor) so it is internal in the breech face. You can purchase those "colt-style 9mm pcc extractors here or rainier arms. The firing pin is "colt" style and is free floating for safety that too can be bought here or rainier arms. It is a good idea just to throw in your spare parts bin.

Tail weight is semi -permanent. You won't ever need to mess with it. This RDPrecisionAZllc is perfect for 9mm.

this RDPrecisionAZllc 9mm bolt carrier group has a good weight in it and in combination you will need a 9mm spacer in the buffer tube and a standard ar15 3oz buffer minimum. An H3 or a 5.8oz buffer is Optimum.

An extended 9mm pcc buffer (without a pcc buffer spacer) is best.

It is ramped in the bottom to pick up the 9x19 round from the magazine and you will need a (non-ramped) 9mm barrel.

The hammer cut out in the middle of the 9mm bolt carrier group is for standard milspec style ar15 hammers. It will obviously, fit most 1 stage or two-stage triggers be it regular or drop in triggers.

Bad: It may not work with binary trigger setups because of hammers and the disconnector mechanisms. Too narrow of cut out.
Pros:
  • Affordable "colt style" 9mm
Cons:
  • May not be compatible with Force Reset triggers, some Binary triggers
Best Used for:
  • Glock style, Colt style Pistol caliber carbine.
