I have had problems with other 40 S&W BCG on full auto. My last set was having firings out of battery and when doing so, the paddle type extractor would break. Furthermore, nobody who sold the other types of BCG could offer or help to provide replacement extractors as the bolt face and extractor were of a proprietary design. Unfortunately, I was left with dead BCG's (due to missing extractor), no way to fix them and an upper receiver that can't work without a BCG. Never mind the out of battery firings. I searched for some time for other 40 S&W BCG's with a different design. I contacted some manufacturers. Some responded, some didn't. Finally I contacted R&D Precision. They called me back and we had a long talk about my problems. They explained that their BCG design is different and should work better. Upon receiving the BCG, I examined it. It almost fully encases the much smaller extractor length wise and does not serve as a portion of the bolt face as the other BCG designs did. The R&D Precision bolt face is all part of the bolt with the extractor merely being a separate piece inside of the bolt face. I fired multiple mags on full auto, various lengths of bursts and switching back and forth to semi using the same previous upper receiver and ammo. When switching mags, I would release the bolt catch and let the BCG ram forward and rock and roll. I had no issues at all. That tells me the issues were the other BCG designs for sure. If you are going full auto, you need these BCG ...
