solid upgrade
Upgrading the charging handle and safety selector was easily 1 of the better upgrades for my rifle. Had some issues with the detent that came with the safety selector and end up having to use my original one but other than that it was a simple install.
best charging handle and safety selector
This is now my 3rd radian charging handle and safety selector set on my builds. I trust radian’s material, feel, size, and function of their products more than any of the other brands currently.

Immediate difference!!!
Made a huge improvement over the Mil-Spec! Pull the trigger (see what I did there) on it, you won’t be disappointed!

solid charging handle
I only put radian on my carbines. I can abuse them and not have to worry about flexing or bending, and they stay running smooth.

Great product
I bought the Radian kit because my thermal optic sits very low and I was having difficulty pulling the factory charging handle, with the Radian raptor handle it’s now easy to load from either side. This is a great product, works well, and very easy install. I will be buying one for my Ar-10.

Great combo deal
Radian charging handle and safety is always a go to. Makes racking the system much better. Great safety selector and easy to install in either 45- or 90-degree position. The ambi is a plus.

45/90 Talon Safety Issues
Great combo item, but I had issues with the 45/90 safety. This is more a Radian QA/QC issue rather than OP. 90 degree side of safety was perfect and smooth, but 45 side was not smooth and had issues switching between safe to semi. It was not a smooth groove on the safety preventing the selector from basically moving at all. I had to use a small metal file to smoothen the area out. Once I did that, everything worked as it should. Great combo, just don’t be surprised if there’s a slight hiccup.
Pros:
- nice
Cons:
- quality assurance issues

Good price and makes mil spec feel like garbage.
The old mil spec hardware is no comparison. I like the 45° safety and the install was simple enough and very secure. The charging handle feels better then the griffin ambi charging handle on my AR9 as well.
Pros:
- EASY INSTALL
- Top notch feel
Cons:
- None
Would recommend: Yes
