The Glock 43x is a snappy little gun as we all know, but it’s easy to control with the correct fundamentals. Myself, like most, love the evolution of your firearm in the means of modifications. I decided to spend the heavy price point for the Radian Ramjet Afterburner over any other competitors for its carry ability in compensator size. Once received and brought to the range I was able to notice a surprisingly significant recoil reduction upon first shot. I ran about 300 rounds within a 1 hour session with no issues whatsoever. The compensator obviously got hot and transferred heat into the slide slightly more than OEM, but it’s a gun so I couldn’t care less, and if I were to nitpick its slightly more concussive over OEM. I carry a T.Rex Arms Raptor holster AIWB made for the G43x and with the Ramjet Afterburner it still fits great with maybe 1/8 inch of the comp sticking out of the end. Did not affect carrying at all. No need to upgrade to a G48 holster if you’re running a T.Rex Raptor with an open end. All said and done I was more than pleased with the product and would absolutely tell anyone who asked if it’s worth the money, that it is definitely worth the money!
Pros:
- Recoil Reduction
- Disasembaly
- Carry Ability

Turns the 43x into a monster. Really takes the bite out of the little 43x. Very flat shooting, no reliability issues over the first 300 rounds.

I've had my 43x for about 5 years and my biggest complaint has been the snappy recoil. I've done things like add a magwell and talon grips to help with purchase on the weapon, but in the end those didn't help as much as I hoped.
I purchased a different comp a couple years ago from a different company, and made the mistake of buying it without research. As I was attempting to install, I quickly realized the install process was way too tedious (requiring shims, threadlocker, a vice, a wrench, and patience) in order to get it perfect. I thought to myself, there's no way I'm repeating this process every time I want to clean my weapon.
The Afterburner is PERFECT. No threaded barrel. The comp just slides on with ease, then just install the tapered screw and boom its done. So much easier to install and uninstall if you need to clean.
As for the performance, I was impressed! It shoots so much flatter now and I can get better grouping on my follow up shots with ease. I feel much more confident with this being my EDC.
If you're on the fence about this, just do it. I promise you will not be disappointed.

This is my first experience with a comp and it really surprised me. Obviously I knew it would tone down the recoil but all the videos I watched truly don’t do it any justice. I didn’t think you could make a sub compact shoot so flat & return to zero so easily. I was apprehensive on buying one for the last year because of the price. Ended up getting it for 25+ percent off between it being marked down, a coupon, and my op bucks. I would & will buy another in the future.

Does what it’s supposed to do. Reduces muzzle rise and functions fine with 115 grain.

I personally own 2 of these Ramjet afterburner barrel/Compensater combos. My first purchase was for my Glock 19 which completely changed the way the gun shoots, day and night difference. So when I decided I was going Glock 43x for my daily carry, I had to buy another. Just use a G48 holster for CC, it removes the snappniess of suck a small pistol. I know its a lot, trust me, Ive bought multiple comps over the year and threaded barrels , and nothing touches this. Highly recommed.

Just took my 43x to the range for the first time with the ramjet installed. This 43x is night and day better than before. I can place more accurate shots and follow ups. I have a rough talon grip on my pistol and I still had issues controlling the snappiness and just was not as accurate as I wanted to be, so I stopped carrying the 43x for a while. Saw an add for this and decided I’d like to try it again. I’ll now be carrying this again as it was extremely accurate and easy to control even using 124gr nato. It’s not cheap, but it’s a quality build and transforms the 43x into a way better platform. I used to carry a CR920 and I’ve already put it up for consignment.
Pros:
- Reduced recoil, easy installation
