The "AR47" design is a compromise.
The "AR47" design is a compromise. Three things: bolt, hammer spring and firing pin.
To fit a 7.62x39 casing in a bolt designed for 5.56NATO, something has to give if you want the ability to use Mil-spec parts (Certain parts like the bolt can never be mil-spec, of course.).
The Comblock ammo has ...

Bad misfiring BCG
I bought this for an AR15 762×39 that I was building. Took it out to shoot and the rifle didn't fire. Kept Leaving impressions of the firing pin on the primers but no action. Firing pin isnt long enough to strike deep enough into primer. Really disappointed. They really need to upgrade the firing pi...

Perfect fit and function
Installed in the CMMG receiver, with Faxon 1:8 barrel and an unknown (forgot to mark) mid-length gas system. Everything fit and aligned on the first try. The BCG function flawlessly from the first round.

Light primer strikes/will not fire
When using this bolt in my ar-15 (7.62x39) rifle, the bullet will fire 1 out of 10 times. There is a noticeable indention in the primer, but most of the time it will not function. I was using tula ammo (and used the same batch in an AK just fine). When a bullet does fire, the gun cycles just fine.

Works perfectly with TRYBE Defense 7.62x39 Complete Upper Receiver
I have a TRYBE Defense 16 inch 7.62x39mm AR-15 Complete Upper Receiver, and an Anderson lower receiver. This Radical Firearms RF 7.62x39 M16 BCG worked perfectly. I shot about 50 rounds, no jams or FTFs/FTEs. Definitely recommended if your looking for a 7.62x39 BCG.
Pros:
- Works as a mil-spec part should
Cons:
- none I experienced
Best Used for:
- Best used on a TRYBE Defense 7.62x39 upper receiver

BCG 762x39 is not bad for the price, could be slightly better
I had similar problems, but it was because of my trigger spring was installed wrong, thats what gave me light primer strikes. Bought an enhanced firing pin, new strike industries gold buffer, new trigger springs that i never installed, or i would have caught the original problem sooner. Runs like a champ.

Awesome bolt carrier
I bought this Radical bolt carrier and used it with the Radical Firearms 7.62x39 upper, the 16 inches barrel one, and worked pretty well. Before shooting it I replaced the firing pin with a reinforced pin for 7.62x39 made by Bexar Arms and I didn't have any malfunction. I used an ASC 7.62x39 magazine for my lower M&P 15 AR. I'm very happy with the results.
