Couldn't get through a mag from the day I got it. Tried multiple mags and ammo. Radical's customer service is non existent, over a month later still no response. Ended up replacing the barrel and now it runs great. Optics Planet has been fine but I'll never buy another Radical product again.

Ordered this is came very nice and clean but it doesn’t come with the bcg so I ordered a cryptic one doubles the price for my upper and it doesn’t fit disassembled tried again with te forward assist no bueno and the barrel lugs chipped the bcg so I’m stuck wanting to send it back and buy a complete upper

Great AR47 upper ! Radical baby!
I got the Radical 47 upper and I am very happy with it. It shoots 3/4 groups at 100 yards and doesn't skip a bear. I paired it with a Cryptic BCG and they are FLAWLESS Together. It's perfectly gassed with brass there right behind your right shoulder. It's lighter , but has a accurate HBar Barrel. It's my 2nd 7.62x39 upper and very happy with Radical firearms performance

it won’t fire
I purchased this excited because I couldn’t wait to actually get an a K version of an AR or more or less an AR 47. I put it on my radical firearms lower, took it to the range. Inserted the magazine pulled back on the charging handle which loaded the bullet into the chamber went to fire it nothing happened. I then tried another bolt carrier, which was my Franklin in arms he did exact same thing, so that I pulled my boat carrier out of my 556 AR that I just got done firing once again nothing happened I have asked for help and nobody will respond

Awesome AR 15 7.62 x 39 upper
Great upper . I used it to build an AR 15 in 7.62x39 in an M&P 15 lower. I just tried it at the range and worked flawless. I'm using a Radical Firearms bolt carrier with an enhanced 7.62x39 Bexar Arms firing pin which I got to replace the original firing pin. I used a 20 rounds ASC magazine and 124gr cheap ammo.very happy with the results.

Best bang for the buck in 7.62x39 Uppers
This Radical Firearms Upper has performed well for me after break in and realizing I needed certain items to run a 7.62x39mm Chamberin in th AR15. The handguard is not the best and has some movement if hit hard enough. But for my uses it works just fine as it's equipped with a Vortex Crossfire 2 1-4x LPVO Scope. You will want C Products Magazines, an Enhanced 7.62x39 Firing Pin, and an Extra Power Hammer Spring. With Good Brass she runs 100%, lol maybe 90% in binary mode. Steel is still pretty reliable in it, but may get 1 or maybe 2 mess ups every few hundred rounds.

Absolutely love it
Threw a basic charging handle and upgraded BCG and she works great. Put a mag through her and no faults. Great bang for the buck for sure. Slap some optics on it and you're good to go. Personally expected it to be way louder but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Would definitely recommend. Radical Firearms did a great job with this complete upper

Good quality, perfect upper!
I can’t believe I picked this pretty thing for this price, so worth it. Quality is superb! Shoots like a boss! Only thing I will be modifying on this upper is the muzzle brake, A2 flash hider too outdated, but besides that, it’s a champ in my books

Great upper
Was packed well, and shipping was fast. I know you read the bad rap about Radical Firearms, but I have bought many uppers, and I would have to say this is one of the best looking uppers I have ever bought. I got the FCR one with 15"rail. The finish with the nitrite treated Heavy barrel is great. Looks and feels very sturdy & solid. All the nuts & screws were tighten properly. Love the rail on this upper. For $220 total with tax included is a super great deal for this upper. I have not fired this upper yet, but the reviews I have read were good. With a good BCG, charging handle, and a Dura Mag 10 round magazine, this thing should rock & roll. So far I am very pleased with this purchase. Great Job Optics Planet for offering this affordable upper. It had everything I wanted & more.
