This upper is actually 1/8" twist rate not 1/7" as advertised - Radical Firearms RF Upper Assembly 8.5in 300 AAC HBAR Contour w/ A2 Flash Hider

Optics Planet should change the product description to 1/8" twist rate not 1/7" (as of Oct 2022). The barrel on my new Radical Firearms .300 AAC BLK 8.5" upper is clearly marked "300 BLK 1/8" so I called Optics Planet to inquire. They opened an inquiry and shortly afterwards I got 2 emails from them about how I could return the item. My concern was whether or not I could actually exchange it for a 1/7" twist barrel (is it available?). So I called Radical Firearms directly. They said they no longer make 300 BLK 1/7 barrel uppers (all their current 300 BLK uppers are 1/8 twist), which is why the item/SKU # I ordered from Optics Planet with a 1/7 twist is actually listed as "Discontinued" on Radical Firearms' website. Also, the top right front corner of the 7" FGS handguard has a minor clip, and the matte finish is as flat and basic as you get. However, Radical's customer service was great and, as always, Optics Planet customer service is great, which is why I give this transaction 4 stars, and I think I'll keep the upper rather than sending it back to Optics Planet.
