Best thing ever to clean the barrels of your pistols. Run a bronze brush through the barrel a few times with your favorite CLP and then run one of these through the barrel a few times. Barrels super clean with not much effort. Much easier and better than cleaning patches. Highly recommended.

THESE SWABS WORK GREAT - THEY HOLD SOLVENTS WITHOUT DRIPPING AND DONT COME APART - THEY FIT TIGHT IN BARRELS AND SEEM TO WORK BETTER THAN PATCHES - ALSO WORK WELL CLEANING MAG WELLS AND MAGAZINES - HIGHLY RECOMMEND

45 cal Barrel Swabs

This swabs are tightly wound, and dont give off lint - but also arent great at absorbing and trapping gunk. They do fit tightly in the barrel and are useful. I use them both by themselves and to push patches through.
Pros:
  • No lint
  • fit barrel well
Cons:
  • could be more absorbant
Best Used for:
  • light cleaning
