Not competition ready but usable
These are thin sheet metal, so they flex too much to allow for quick reloads - the rounds simply "jiggle" too much. However, they work just fine if reload speed isn't a huge deal. I use them for Steels Challenge matches with the S&W PC 929. Because of the hexagonal cut, the TK Custom moon clip loader requires a bit of fiddling to make it work. So I recommend a couple of sets of these for practice and Steels Challenge matches, then some TK Custom clips for USPSA or other higher round count competitions.

Not a fit for the S&W 929 performance center revolver
The S&W 929 performance center revolver requires a round centered moon clip, these are octagonal, when loaded they will not fit the cylinder. Buy another model. They also will not load with the recommended tool.
