So first with the good. This thing does what it says, draws and undraws the R500. It appears to be good for somewhere between a dozen to maybe 18 cycles which isn't bad. Was a fairly easy install, but you need to make sure the gears are lined up. I didn't time the draw, but it seems to be a little faster than manual. The bad, it is very noisy so you'd not want to use this out in the field. Instead of a clutch, the motor uses a breaker which disables the motor for 30s. Not a biggie since this is not a normal operating condition. You will need to remove the motor to draw/undraw, this is done by loosening one thumb screw. The motor has over-heat protection which I was not able to accomplish. This motor is perfect for practicing, but is still a pretty expensive convenience. Optics Planet helped out in this department being the cheapest game in town, especially for a brand new product.
