I have these sunglasses in the clear and mirror finish and wanted them in prescription. I checked several sunglass shops in my city. (Salt Lake City) and all of them told me the Ray Ban Top Bar sunglasses cannot be ordered in Prescription due to the curve in the glass. I found Optics and they had them made! at a great price too! I am now buying all of my glasses through Optics. I was amazed at all of the options that are available when ordering your Prescription glasses. This is the place to buy!! Customer for life!

Great Sunglasses. Good fit. Make sure you get the antiglare on the inside. I had a bad reflection on the inside of the lens but the antiglare helped tremendously. Customer service was great to work with on this issue.

Very clear lens. Local stores said they couldn't do these sunglasses in prescription because of the long curved lens. Took a chance with optics planet, upgraded to the Trivex with polarized grey lens and solid silver mirror coating. Glasses are perfect, vision is clear and they even included the original sunglass lenses in the box.

These top bar ray-ban sunglasses are the perfect combination of sleekness and comfort. I was quite surprised when I tried these on for the first time and they fit so well. Opticsplanet got my prescription right on with these. I will be ordering another pair in the gun metal color to keep in my truck. A++

I have only had the glasses a few days but have worn them extensively over the weekend, so far very good. Overall the experience at Optics planet is awesome, this is my second pair of Rx Sunglasses from them and I will buy more. I like the glasses they fit well and look great. The only thing that could be a negative is that the lens is thicker then I expected and they did take an hour or so to get used to the curve, some initial distortion but that seemed to clear up as my eyes adjusted.

Already own a pair of regular 3183 raybans so ordered these as prescrition sunglasses. Frames had to be backordered out of Italy but Optics Planet kept me updated on the status. Glasses are great and prescrition appears perfect. Thank Optics Planet I will definetly buy from you again.

I am absolutely thrilled to wearing this pair of glasses, they are awesome!
I found the staff at Optics Planet to be efficient, very helpful & polite at all times. Using the web site to order my awesome glasses was a total breeze & the price was a real bargain.
The postage to the was a little high, or so I thought but you have full insurance & online tracking in the price, so again, a good deal. There was a small import fee to pay of £34 but that was to be expected & Optics Planet clearly inform you of this on their web site.
The UK could not make these glasses for me, way too complicated they said & I wish I had saved time & came straight here for them to be made. The UK would also charge you double if they were able to make these glasses that's for sure.
The finish quality of my glasses is absolutely perfect, beautiful craftsmanship, so good in fact, that I will be purchasing a second pair very soon. The extreme curve of my lenses did take a couple of days to become accustomed to but now I am fully adjusted & love wearing them all day every day.
Don't waste your time with other opticians specialist, go straight to Optics Planet.

Still haven't received my basic Rx lens order going on 5 weeks now. Had to call & email customer service for 3 days straight just to find out my order status - which was showing as "shipped" when I checked status using the website. Why isn't order status easily visible (and accurate)? It's 2011 - buy a decent business system.
Will not use again.
