Well worth the money.

I have used this tool for years with great results. It can also be used to check primer pockets to see if they need to be swaged. This is the second of these tools I've purchased. I loaned my first one to my Son and haven't seen it since.

RCBS Primer Pocket Swager

Great for taking the crimp out of the primer pocket of military brass for reloading. I also use it to press copper tubing in the primer pockets of 7.62x54R steel casings, after i cut the anvil out, to fit large rifle primers in for reloading. Have fired over 100 rounds reloaded this way with no failures to date.

on the nickle brass some extra effort was needed to install primers.Way better than hand swagger and reamer.Typical high quality rcbs product.Have to load shell onto stem or damage from misalinement happens easy.

RCBS primer pocket swager combo-2

Very good product, as is all RCBS products. I haven't used it much, but it works as it is supposed to. It is much cheaper than the blue ones, about 1/3 the price. As always, the shipping from Optic planet was very fast.

Best option, Cost effective

For me, this is the best swager on the market. It allows you to utilize your existing press to swage your brass, which, then, does not add to everything else a reloader needs to have on their bench. Most folks will recommend the Dillon unit, but I find this product far easier to set up, and definitely easier to convert from small to large primer pockets. At less than half the price of the Dillon, you can't go wrong.

Set up is easy, primers seat without issue after use, and the price is right.

Best deal for dealing with crimped or staked primers

This as other buyers have said is a way better deal then the option from the " blue" company. I was able to process 50 cases in the time it takes me to hand ream 5 cases carefully.
Pros: Uses the press you already have, no extra space on bench, faster then hand reaming
Cons: Loud, must lineup neck perfectly to start.

Optics Planet Logistics Suck

Product showed to be in stock and advertised to ship within 1-2 days. Took over 5 days and several IMs before it was shipped then was shipped on the slowest possible method. It has still not arrived, the item was ordered on November 1st and not scheduled to be delivered until the 13th. I have already had 2 Brownells orders placed and delivered since then. I will wait for my products to come in stock at other Brownells before I order from here again !

Makes primer pocket uniform

Typical RCBS excellent quality and ease of use. Does great job of making primer pocket uniform. Got it for .223 but also used on 30-06 with excellent results.
