Clean brass
Works great. Helps if water is warm or at least at room temp to expedite heating process. Unit is quiet, use on opposite side of wall adjoining sons bedroom. Brass comes out clean, not shiny as a vibratory cleaner but it's clean and no dust to deal with.
Bad display
Decided to give RCBS another try since the reviews were so high on this item. The first time using it the display segment all lit and started flashing before the solution came to temp. The ultrasonic motor works but without the display it is useless. Another note: I also purchased the RCBS cleaner. Estremely noxious vapors. I do not recommend. I am very careful but the slightest inhale will feel as though your lungs are burnt.
I have been reloading for over 35 years and RCBS is a shadow of its former self. That is why most of my stuff has shifted to Redding. I used to use RCBS exclusively but the last few items of theirs I have purchased have all been returned as faulty.

ultrasonic Cleaners
This Cleaner is a very good choice for cleaning range brass, and for cleaning the pocket primers. One of the features that makes this ultra sonic cleaner stand out is that the timer can be set for more than eight minutes. A normal clean cycle seems to be approx. thirty minutes. Plus a good idea for cleaning the machine is the tube provided for draining the cleaner. Very well thought out by the manufacture. Also the ability to heat the water, or cleaning solution. I pre-heat the water I add to save time, but it is not necessary.

Great Ultrasonic Cleaner
Does a great job cleaning brass cases and small gun parts. Makes very very little noise, just make sure before the first time you fill it up that the drain hole is closed. The included drain hose is a nice touch that comes in handy.
