James Chen's Review of Recover Tactical P-IX AR Platform Conversion Kit
This recover tactical kit is not named properly. It has a few elements from the AR platform of which was poorly executed.
The grip is reminiscent of an A2 grip but is not compatible with a ciuple my existing AR grips. The buffer tube uses the standard milspec which was fine. But wheres the charging handle? It uses a completely different charging style from the side. That alone disqualifies it as being an AR platform. Its something different and still kinda cool because it unique looking.
But the quality of the plastic is not up to par for the price you pay. The micro roni kit cost less and imo, was made with better quality. Some edges of this kit is sharp and isnt pleasant to handle. They need to do better in that regard for all their products as this poor plastic quality is reflected in their other products too.
If you are getting this for your airsoft glock then you`ll need to do some filing to ensure you can rack the slide as the dimentions of the real steel is different.
