I think i was a bit of a Strike Industrious fanboy prior to this last glock sight purchase. I have myself to blame for not reading all the feedbacks about this sight. I thought maybe my last glock modular sight was bad due to being a fluke (wishful thinking on my part).
The filing down of the front sight wouldnt of garnered a bad review from me. At least it was something a lil filing can fix. Neither would the rear sight being super hard to install. But its the front sight screw that they chose to use a proprietary front sight screw that needed their included allen key to install.
This POS screw started stripping when it started to get tight and a lil forcce was needed to torque it on. It stripped using the allen they supplied. Why couldnt they just kept the standard glock screw used? I imaging it could have save them some $ using the existing stock screw instead of having to spec out another screw using an allen which they had to buy adding to over all cost to produce.
I think im going to pass on their future glock accessories and just stick to their AR stuff which i feel has much more value due to their innovative design.

But as a few other reviewers have pointed out, this cover just will not stay closed. I have used several other polymer dust covers and this magpul one just doesnt provide any advantage over even a polymer cover by UTG.
I think the inner part of the cover was overmolded so it makes contact with the bcg. And since their detent isnt adjustable, the cover wont hold. You can put it in the closed position, but the slightest movement will jostle right open.
Since it really isnt worth the time to send back, i may just file down the overmold inner portion to see if it fixes it.

I was pretty happy with this optics. Was not expensive, illuminated red/green and magnified. Great bang for buck. 10 times better than the utg it replaced.
The only thing i didn't like were the lense covers. They were not designed very well and did not fit tightly. They often came off when i tried to open the covers. I wrapped the ends of the scope with a layer of electric tape for a tighter fit but it still doesnt hold tight. Probably will just end up taking them off as they arent really useful.

I bought this because it was the complete set i needed and its made in the USA. The overall quality was satisfactory with all the components. I was disappointed with the design of the butt stock. The lever thats used when you adjust the atock is held in by a pin that's not captive to the stud it is supposed to hold the lever secure. From time to time if the stud is not inserted coreectly, that pin will be loose and if you tilt in any direction, the pin will fall out and possibly be lost.
Its a really bad design that i think UTG should take a look at.i wouldnt trust this device in any environment.

This works as intended and allows the forward assist button to be functiona. It also acts a weight to reduce bcg vibration.
The reason i didnt give it 5 stars is because i have one in both my dedicated upper and the convertion upper. They have both broke and needed replacements.
Luckily CMMG has a great lifetime warrenty on their products and have replaced mine when they broke. I only wished these were made with stronger material so they can last longer.

This recover tactical kit is not named properly. It has a few elements from the AR platform of which was poorly executed.
The grip is reminiscent of an A2 grip but is not compatible with a ciuple my existing AR grips. The buffer tube uses the standard milspec which was fine. But wheres the charging handle? It uses a completely different charging style from the side. That alone disqualifies it as being an AR platform. Its something different and still kinda cool because it unique looking.
But the quality of the plastic is not up to par for the price you pay. The micro roni kit cost less and imo, was made with better quality. Some edges of this kit is sharp and isnt pleasant to handle. They need to do better in that regard for all their products as this poor plastic quality is reflected in their other products too.
If you are getting this for your airsoft glock then you`ll need to do some filing to ensure you can rack the slide as the dimentions of the real steel is different.

As the title says this one cover will fit 2 other premium red dots that currenty do not have one made specifically for it. The Steiner DRS and Sig Romeo 8h. All 3 of these premium red dot sights are roughly the same size attached is a side by side comparisson of the 3 for your referrence.

I have bought plenty of Leapers/UTG products in the past and they were all cheap affordable parts that i really wouldnt cry about if broke late. They at pesdt all worked none has failed until i bought this ambi ext mag release.
My OCD wanter the parts on my lower receiver to all be made from the same mfr... So this mag release wasbthe missing part to do that.
This part was a complete fail right outta the box. After i installed it, the was a gap visible on the ambi side of the release. No matter how i installed it, the gap was still there. And worst of all, it wil) not hold my mag in place. It just will not lock the mag in place.
Ended throwing the old generic mag releaee back and call it done. My OCD will just have to get over it somehow. So save your money by not buying this POS. Amything other than this would be a 110% improvement.

The illuminated reticles from the second least bright seeing onward renders the center dot useless. The inner rings brightness drowns out the center dot in both colors.
If vortex can reduce the brightness of tue inner circle somehow, it would fix my issue. But i think due to how thick the inner circle is, it isn't possible to refuce its effect. My astigmatised eyes love the etched prism with no illumination. But once the the illumination is turned on brighter than the lowest setting, it becomes useless. This could be because of my astigmatised eyes seeing the inner circle the way it is. Perhaps with normal eyes it would work out correctly.
The shake awake and over 265 hours of use in brightest setting with dual color and etched prism are features lacking in most of the sights out there. The VIP warranty is an industry leader. I would say if your eyes are not astigmatised, this is an awesome sight. For those with astigmatism, it might work for you or you might see what i see, you just have to try and find out.

Last year i spluged and bought 2 top shelf optics, leupold LCO, and Steiner DRS. Those two are premiums by all means. I have had the reolica xps3 and decided to buy tye real deal and see what the hype was all about. Got the xps2 because i dont need the night vision feature.
I would have to say i was not impressed or unimpressed after using it. It does everything my replica does and less. Less the dual color red green changability. Which isnt much. Granted the real deal is made with much better quality and will withstand much more than just 22lr. But it desnt save last light setting and for tye money that should be a standard feature. Its an old technology that many premiums seems to leave out for some reason.
The sight picture is better than the replica but my astigmatism isnt in agreement with it all the time. And the holographics claim seemed like a gimick to me. I understand the laser projects yhe image to a diferent sighy plane than the red dot replica. But when i compared them side by side, the advantages of the real one seemed marginal to me. Probably because I'm still a beginner and don't know what I'm looking at. But after sighting in i shoot abiut the same maybe a lil better than when using the replica.
Do i recommend this over the ither two LCO or DRS i own? Depends… because the only advantage this has over the ither two is its holographic and that feature isn't all thats its cracked up to be imo. So its up to user to see if this woi)d be a good fit.dont take
