jayceeCA2A's Review of Strike Industries Suppressor Height U-Notch Iron Pistol Sight

I think i was a bit of a Strike Industrious fanboy prior to this last glock sight purchase. I have myself to blame for not reading all the feedbacks about this sight. I thought maybe my last glock modular sight was bad due to being a fluke (wishful thinking on my part).

The filing down of the front sight wouldnt of garnered a bad review from me. At least it was something a lil filing can fix. Neither would the rear sight being super hard to install. But its the front sight screw that they chose to use a proprietary front sight screw that needed their included allen key to install.

This POS screw started stripping when it started to get tight and a lil forcce was needed to torque it on. It stripped using the allen they supplied. Why couldnt they just kept the standard glock screw used? I imaging it could have save them some $ using the existing stock screw instead of having to spec out another screw using an allen which they had to buy adding to over all cost to produce.

I think im going to pass on their future glock accessories and just stick to their AR stuff which i feel has much more value due to their innovative design.
Pros:
  • None
Cons:
  • proprietary front sight screw made of cheap material
