Nice strong item. Near perfect fit, but will need a very tiny bit off the lip @ the slide where mine actually makes contact with the slide. Nothing that can't be done easily by hand and a piece of 320 grit sand paper. Lock up on rail is tight. Haven't shot with it yet but have no doubt it will handle it. Well worth the money if you want to add a small tactical light or laser to your gun.

Needed a picatinney attachment on my S&W M&P9 compact, and this fit perfectly. My *only* concern at present is that the two nuts for the mounting screws were apparently shipped already installed in one side, but fell out on the carpet or into the couch when I removed the part from the packaging. Sadly, I've been unable to find either one, and I need replacements. I thought the nuts were supposed to be in the plastic zip lock pouch with the screws, so wasn't looking for them in the side part. If customer service is listening, I'd like, I need, replacements. Other than that the parts fit together perfectly and make for a very sturdy fit on the trigger guard. Great value for the price.

Tactical Rail Adapter

This product is excellent. Allows me to mount picatinny style accessories and quite well. I used it to mount a 600 Lumen flashlight. It couls also be used to run a laser. I would recommend this product. Would be great if someone produced a holster for the setup

Awesome product. Easy to install, definitely recommend the product of your going to put a light/laser on your shield. Price is right, not too expensive. The only con i see with this product, is the company should make these adapters to fit all Shields 9/40/and 45.
