Old School is still cool.....
I used to have one of these, and over the years it had been lost, probably when moving. I have a Hornady trickler that is okay, but I missed my old Redding. What I like about it is the base is heavy for it's size, the plastic ones have a wider base to keep them from tipping. This trickler is small, sits close and my scale doesn't touch off on it when measuring. I saw it on Optics Planet and had to have it. I love Optics Planet, you just never know what you'll find. In a world of auto chargers I still reload the old school way. Reloading to me is therapeutic, I may get an auto charger some day, then again maybe not. For now I'm just leaving a review for someone that may be wondering why I would spend my money on that thing. Be safe, aim true, and put your faith in God not man.
Pros:
- Small but stable
Cons:
- Pricey
Best Used for:
- Reloading
Would recommend: Yes
Works very well
I use this to trickle stick powder into a FX-120i while setting on top of the scale. It will drop a single stick (Benchmark for example). It is also very heavy duty.
Pros:
- will drop single stick of stick powder
Cons:
- drops two sticks once in a while
Best Used for:
- stick powders
Would recommend: Yes
