Right out of the box, these binoculars left a little to be desired. Mainly, the eyepiece cups were loose and could not be easily secured for viewing. I taped them down and got them to work okay, but I expected better. The "glass" seemed pretty good for this price of binoculars and focusing was easy....

own it - I like the view
Those screwy eyepieces - build quality is solid - but the eyepiece extension is very loose. At this point I'm contemplating super glue on the extended open setting. If the adjustment was tighter - I'd give them a 10 - especially in this price range. I can leave them in my truck - not worried too much about having them stolen vs.safe and sound in the gun room when I need them in the field.

great binoculars
I expected redfield to be a quality product, and I am not disappointed.
optics had a great price and their service was great too
