Durable enough for 12 gauge slug guns - Redfield Revenge 2-7x34mm 4-Plex Rifle Scope

These are exceptional scopes at a very attractive price. These are durable enough to be used on a 12 gauge slugger according to Leupold -- nice! I compared the Revenge to several scopes on the shelf at two different retailers. The Redfield had the same or better clarity as the Nikon Slug Gun model and is very close to the Leupold VX2 line. I have not compared it to a VX1/rifleman but I would guess these fall somewhere in between a VX1 and VX2. Resolution is close to a Burris Fullfield II in terms of sharpness (a very good thing - the FF2 is tack sharp). I like that the Redfield Revenge has pull up windage and elevation turrets/knobs that can reset your zero. So you can alter your elevation or windage (who uses windage anyway?) MOA in the field and just put your knob back to your known good zero you set when sighting the scope in! Sweet!
