I have this mounted on my 308 for deer hunting. It works great for those that hunt in the woods. My longest shot is 100 yards but the 2x works great for those 25 yds and closer. And still have up to the 7x for further out. Clear scope with alot of light coming in.

Love the scope. I have two similar leupold rimfire scopes, the $200 and $ 330 ones. While not as fancy or light but I prefer this over them. The generous eye relief makes this a joy to use. Nice bright picture. I only wish they made a silver version to match a stainless rimfire. Just a great scope at a great price. I mounted it on my Remington 552 and it really complements the rifle. The front bell just barely cleared the rear site with high rings only Used weaver grand slam rings along with BKL riser mounts to give it more room. The bkl risers allow you to use the iron sights too.
Pros:
- value for $$
- Bright !
- eye relief at low mag
- Eas of use.
Best Used for:
- Plinking & target shooting

I found the scope to have less brightness and pickier eye relief then the cheaper Bushnell Banner I bought for my muzzleloader. I was expecting this scope to be comparable to the Nikon Prostaff or the Vortex Crossfire. It is not. I won't say it's terrible or unusable but definitely not what I expected. Buy a prostaff or crossfire you will like it more.

This is an excellent scope for the money. Well made with clear optics. I have two other Redfield scopes which I use on pistol caliber rifles. I have been very pleased. This scope will be used on a .22lr target rifle.

I haven't had the chance to shoot with this scope yet but the glass is clear and the size is great to go on my AR. The product came very quickly. These are made by Leopold and I believe the that shines through when you handle this little scope. I absolutely can not wait to go shooting with it.
Pros:
- Size
- Easily adjustable turrets
- Clean ,crisp view

These are exceptional scopes at a very attractive price. These are durable enough to be used on a 12 gauge slugger according to Leupold -- nice! I compared the Revenge to several scopes on the shelf at two different retailers. The Redfield had the same or better clarity as the Nikon Slug Gun model and is very close to the Leupold VX2 line. I have not compared it to a VX1/rifleman but I would guess these fall somewhere in between a VX1 and VX2. Resolution is close to a Burris Fullfield II in terms of sharpness (a very good thing - the FF2 is tack sharp). I like that the Redfield Revenge has pull up windage and elevation turrets/knobs that can reset your zero. So you can alter your elevation or windage (who uses windage anyway?) MOA in the field and just put your knob back to your known good zero you set when sighting the scope in! Sweet!
Pros:
- Durability
- Clarity
- Brightness
- Turrets click
- pop-up turret knobs
- high visibility reticle
Cons:
- bikini style lens caps
- rings not included
Best Used for:
- Target/Hunting
- Large Caliber Rifles
- Target/Varmint
- slug guns

Great scope!! Small and light weight yet very well built. Easy to adjust eye relief, windage and elevation. I believe its even clearer than any Leupold I've ever used. And at $135 how can you go wrong. I now own 2 of these scope and would recommend them to anyone for use on their deer rifle.

This scope is extremely nice for the $$, I mounted it on a Remington 700 BDL 30-06 and wanted a little more compact scope than the 3-9x40 scopes. It is pretty light and compact but very bright and clear with positive adjustments and you don't need more magnification for big game when you have quality optics.

For the last few years I have been converting all my guns over to redfield scopes. I love the Revenge line. Easy to adjust turrets and awesome glass. I have a leupold vxll on my .300 Win Mag. I think the redfield has an equal picture to the vxll. Why spend twice as much?
