Most Helpful Positive Review Great buy for the money, incorrectly labeled by optics planet.
So I have to say that this scope is very clear and pretty bright. It punches way above it's price range and I would compare it to many options in the 200-250 dollar price range. It focuses well, is relatively lightweight and compact. Comes with good eyecups on both objective and ocular side and w...

So far I have to rate this item a 1 star. Optics planet website states this is a bak 4 prisim bino...the back of the box when it arrives clearly states it's a bk7. That is a pretty big selling point error when you mis represent the glass quality.

My guys loved

by Nana, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on March 21, 2022
I gifted the men in my inner family with these binoculars for Christmas. They were all very happy with the quality of the gift. This was a big hit! I was happy with their responses. They were also happy with the size of the binoculars especially when packing for trips. The value could not have been better!

Best Value

by Bitter Gun Klinger, Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on October 15, 2021
Best value for the price. Compare to Leupold, and these are easily a better buy for the money. Glass is crisp and clear, compact design make these a no brainer. Get three pairs of these for the price of one Leupold, and just as good.

Just ok, average clarity and color

by D.K, from NC, United States Written on September 17, 2021
These are ok binocs it seems. The box states "fully coated". The ad on optics planet states: "fully multicoated". There is a difference. Nowhere on the box does it state ANYWHERE anything about waterproof, for proof, etc. You think that's worth mentioning. No manual is included. Visually, honestly, the sight picture is no better or worse than my Simmons roof prism binocs that were around $20 cheaper. These were on sale for $49 plus I had 5% off. I have some Chinese noname brand binocs that seem to use the exact same rubber cover, complete with recessed little company tag on the left tube. Appears to use the same focus wheel and diopter ring. Optically honestly, they are also just as clear and cost $12. My main goal here was to have a 10x42 waterproof to alternate with my 8x42 H2O's. The Bushnells however demolish these glasses. My registration card refers to Leopold and Stevens being the parent company. I've heard that is no longer the case. I can only assume the warranty means squat now.
Pros:
  • Real nice case and strap
Cons:
  • Just average clarity
Best Used for:
  • Unknown

Redfield binoculars

by Matt, from OR, United States Written on June 30, 2021
Great binoculars. Haven't used them in the field yet but will be shortly. I shopped all over for weeks and kept coming back to optic planet. Literally couldn't beat the price for this kind of quality.

Not the glass described.

by shimanole, from FL, United States Written on June 15, 2021
Bought these for birding only to be greatly disappointed that the marketing was misleading. These have BK7 prisms not BAK-4. I specifically purchases these because of the BAK-4 prisms because they are much less grainy when viewing birds. It's a substantially difference for my purpose of use. Spend a little more and get some good binoculars that are as advertised.
Pros:
  • Cheap
Cons:
  • Cheap and Not as Advertised
Best Used for:
  • kids

Great for the money

by Travis, from SC, United States Written on May 24, 2021
These can’t be beat for the price point. If you need a knock around set for the truck or boat these are what you need. They don’t have the clarity or light transmission of high end sets but for the money they’re awesome.
Pros:
  • Price
Cons:
  • None

Great for Eyeglass Wearers

by Mickey560, from NY, United States Written on May 7, 2021
I spent a week looking at reviews of various binoculars. As an eyeglass wearer it's difficult to try looking through lenses, leave my glasses on, take them off, constant dilemma. Many reviews said these were good for glasses and they are. Right out of the box the viewer was great, easily adjustable and clear range of vision. The distance from my eyeglasses to the lens and onto the object I'm looking at was flawless. Definitely recommend these.
Pros:
  • Solid construction, easy to focus, great for eyeglass wearers.
Cons:
  • None that I notice
Best Used for:
  • Hiking, hunting, boating, general recreation
