Excellent barrel!
I got this to go on my 870 12 gauge Wingmaster so as to be able to use it for home defense (has a 28 inch barrel, original). Perfect fit, and operation. I couldn't ask for anything better for this application.

18 inch barrel
The barrel came faster than expected. Ot was weird when I opened the box though. The barrel was heavily oiled and when I wiped it down there was a ton of dirt residue on the barrel as if it was used before. I'm not sure if this is true and there is no way I can prove it. Perfect Fit
The Remington 18 inch "extra" barrel fit perfectly on my 870 Express pump shotgun and fired flawlessly. I am very pleased with this purchase. Also, the actual delivery was faster than the original forecast from Opticsplanet.

Remington 18inch Barrel 24620
Shipped as promised and item arrived in perfect condition. MOST importantly, Opticsplanet did not charge my card until they actually shipped the item, as there was a clearly stated minimum 2-4 week window before delivery.

18 inch home defense barrel
This barrel is perfect for home defense you need to clean the grease/oil off the barrel and recoat it before installing it to the receiver witch it fits perfect to the bead on the front is just right for the trak lock 2 front sight

Fits perfectly
Barrel length is 18 1/2 fits perfectly and legal I want to 870 in a raffle and the standard barrel for so long it was cumbersome for home defense barrel does not have choke which is fine I’m just shooting clays

18 inch Remington 870 barrel
Bought this after trying to go cheap with Mossberg's version of this barrel. Had to return that one due to a canted bead post. Fit and finish are perfect. Price was lowest I found online. Fast shipping and excellent customer service with Optics Planet.
