Remington 7400 stock kit
Stock and forend fit like a glove. Easy to install and looks good. It put my 30 year old rifle back in action. Totally changed the look of the rifle and now I don’t have to worry about the shine of the wood finish part giving me away

Woodmaster
My remington woodmaster is looking great in this beautiful sleek scratchresistant black. Excellent fit once you get everything on in the proper order. Had to take it apart and put it back together many many times, and even got frustrated. Ha.

Perfect Fit on my 742
I replaced my Walnut stock because the wood was just to nice and I wanted to make this gun a bit lighter. I did buy the Uncle Mikes swivel set but I didn't need them. Even though the box stated, by Remington "Will Not Fit 742" it fit like it was made for it.

Cheap but poor fit
Found a cheap Remington automatic at a pawn shop that needed a new stock and forearm The forearm fits good enough but the stock does not fit up to the receiver very loose and ill fitting. Would not purchase again.

POOR FIT and FINISH
I do not like to leave negative reviews due to personal bias is a large part of a review. FOR ME the stock and forend fit on a 7400 Remington is way below what I would expect from the OEM. FOR ME the buttstock did not fit the receiver and the forend did not fit. There are no provisions for a sling in the buttstock. There were large gaps between the buttstock and receiver and the same for the forend. I could not make any type of adjustment to improve the fit and I really wanted this type of stock and forend. The price is reasonable but the product FOR ME is very poorly made for an OEM product. For you the product may be great and I hope if you try it you like it. I returned the product to OpticsPlanet without incident. I wish the product was as good as OpticsPlanet customer service.

Nice Product
I replaced the wood stock on my 742. Had a gunsmith do the work for me. Had to have the extra washer or spacer added on the forend and I had the stock tapped for a sling. Fits good and looks good as well.

Excellent fit right out of the box
I used this to replace a broken wood stock, it looks great and installation was easy. The lines match well with the rifle, the cheek swell is just about right for me. The nonreflective matte finish looks nice.

Great product.
This product is very well made and installation was very easy. Feels good in your hands and takes a noticeable amount of weight off the firearm. Not to mention the durability of the material. Now I dont have to worry about beating up the wood or damage from hunting in the rain. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Remington 7400 Rifle Synthetic Stock/Forend Matte Black
Very nice stock, my original stock is like brand new and I wanted to save the finish on it. The only thing I would suggest that Remington do is provide a better recoil pad, possibly partner with Limb Saver as they are truly the best. Other than that this stock has a nice finish, is light weight and seems to be very well made.
