Most Helpful Positive Review Nice stock, but you may have to modify it for a good fit.
This could be a really nice stock if... (see cons listed). The projection at the front end of the stock was 1/8"+ too long to fit in my 1980's 870 Express - maybe newer 870s are a better fit...??? I ground the face of that extension within about 1/32" and then carefully filed for about an hour to get a correct fit. Also there are not very good instructions for installing the buttpad - it just says screw it on. They don't tell you that you have to penetrate an approx. 3/8" dia. flange on the screw head through a 1/8" hole to get it inside the pad, and then screw to the stock. This would confise...

870 camo obsession stock

this stock makes carrying the 870 very comfortable, looks great and way more functional and comfortable than the traditional walnut stock, I love wood but this is an excellent choice for weather and comfort.

Stock set for 870 super magnum

Excellent stock set. I highly recommend. I went from the stock that came on the shotgun, to this aftermarket stock. It feels much better than the original. It is a very lightweight stock compared to the factory stock set

Nice way to add a pistol grip to 870

I bought a Remington 12 gauge 870 a couple of years back plain black synthetic stock. It was cheap and plain. This stock kit has everything you need for the change over plus it was made by Remington so everything fit together perfectly the camo really helps to dress up the shotgun. Much cheaper than buying a 870 from the factory with this stock on it.

Excellent Fit!

Instructions were good had no problems removing old stock and installing the new one. It looks and feels good. It really improves handling and helps with the recoil from 3 1/2 mag turkey loads. Looking forward

Great pistol grip stock

Great looking and nice ergonomics, a little shorter than the factory 870 stock though. The forearm extends further back towards the receiver which is nice. Have not shot it yet so will see how it really works soon. Easy to install.

The mossy oak pattern looks good, hoping it fares well in the field for turkey hunting. Somewhat simple to install, the stock was easy but the forend takes some time to get on but worth the effort. For a minimal price transformed my 870 into a completely different shotgun.

Excellent stock

Needed a stock to convert my tactical to a turkey gun. This fits well, looks great. The forend rubs the receiver slightly when fully cycled so I'll need to file it a little, no big deal. Overall pleased, would recommend.

synthetic stock

Went on very easy with no modifications. I have on my 870 and my stepdad saw it when we went hunting this fall and kept asking about it. So we got it for him for Christmas and he is very pleased with him.
