Remington 870 Stock And Forend
Installation was straightforward, just follow the directions on the box. This new stock was about 4 ounces lighter than my original wood stock. I poured a mix of epoxy and birdshot into the butt before installing the recoil pad so that the gun's weight and balance were not significantly changed. The new stock looks good and fits well.
Excellent Remington product...
I have a Remington 870 12 ga. shotgun and wanted to change from the black synthetic stock to a new Realtree camo stock and forend. I found the product I wanted on Optics Planet website at a very good price and ordered it. It was fairly easy to replace the original stock and forend with the new model and it works great. The Realtree stock came with the Remington super-cell recoil pad which is a great addition. Great product, great price!

Remington 870 Realtree stock
Great quality product. Easy to install and has a good fit. Textured grip areas increase accuracy with better stability than the stock synthetic stock my shotgun came with. Completely changed the look of my original dull black stocked shotgun. I highly recommend this product if you are looking to lighten up and improve the grip on your Remington 870.

Great look and fit!
This stock replaces my original from 1975, which was way overdue. The Realtree Camo looks great and the SuperCell pad is nice and soft compared to the one that has turned into a rock over time. The only problem with installation was removing the round nut inside the forend. I had to make a tool to remove it but other than that, is was easy and straight forward. The fit and finish are perfect and I highly recommend this stock to anyone looking for a replacement.
