The little indent where the clamp goes is the main problem. It narrows down so far that my follower can not go past it and wastes about an inch of space inside the tube. It Will not hold 8 in the tube it will only hold 7 1/2 shells. I took this with my mossberg 590a1 with a shorter tube to a gun shop wondering why the remington with a longer tube can't hold 8. I do not recommend this. I wish i could return but its too late.
