This should say that it is for a 20" barrel, otherwise it won't be flush in an 18.5 or 18.0 barrel. Also, it is Parkerized, not Parkarized. Expert Answer

870 tube extension by bgjacks, October 21, 2020
the tube extension is pretty straight forward. With the exception of needing a drimmel tool to file down 2 bumps in the original tube to allow shells to slide into the extension. Assembly was easy and there are many you tube videos show how.

Nice piece, sticks out about 1/2" past the 20" barrels, but looks great. Loaded and tested, works nice. I have not taken to the range yet, but it cycled rounds nicely. It's hard to beat the factory Remington hardware!

The little indent where the clamp goes is the main problem. It narrows down so far that my follower can not go past it and wastes about an inch of space inside the tube. It Will not hold 8 in the tube it will only hold 7 1/2 shells. I took this with ...
