Disgruntled Remington customer
The forend does not fit. It will not slide back but about and inch before rubbing on the receiver.I expected much more from Remington.This I find out after I ordered a forend tool that now will only be used to remove this piece of junk and replace with original.
Great upgrade!
This is a great upgrade for the Model 870 20 gauge shotgun. Much better control of the gun is possible with this stock system. This is especially true for my wife and some of the kids in the family. It is also a great way to get a secure sling mount on the rear of the gun.

Great product
Good fit, fast shipping. Good packaging. Stock bolts up easily and fit my 1187 20ga. well. **Note that this stock has a raised comb designed for adding optics (scope or red dot). If you are wanting to shoot the factory bead it will be too high to get your head down on the rib.

870/1187 Shurshot stock
This was used to set up a turkey gun. Far more comfortable and easier to sit for extended periods without moving with this stock. It should be noted that you cannot use the bead on the barrel if using this stock. I knew that going in, so I didn’t deduct any stars. I could see it being upsetting otherwise. Mine is tapped with a base and a Burris FFIII.

Transformation
What a great thing! Completely transformed my 25 year old, beat up 20 ga into a modern ergonomic lightweight turkey gun, added the sure stock, rail, red dot, choke, and sling. With the newer long reaching shells by 20 patterns better, shoots easier, and easier to lug around then my trusted, but hefty 12 ga.

Great look and feel. Haven't actually used in the field yet but I can't see why it wouldn't work great. Hardware was included...nice bonus. Not too difficult to remove the old and install the new. Should have bought this long ago.

Very comfortable
I finally did some squirrel hunting this year, and this stock and forend where very comfortable. The pistol grip takes a little getting used to when you're just walking around if you're used to a traditional grip, but it's still very comfortable. I highly recommend this setup. The only downside so far is that I have not found a good buttstock pouch that fits it well.

Well worth the money
This stock has the best fit I've ever seen. It puts you right in target and it actually reduces the felt recoil. Seem the recoil is less by almost 50%. It's well worth the money. It should be factory on all of Remington's 870s.

Happy Camper
This is exactly what I expected. Really great for youth and even adults to use for more accurate shooting. Got the stock fast and at a fair price. I would recommend for any kind of hunting but especially turkey hunting where it is necessary to hold a shoulder gun for long periods of time.
