They are Sluggs

I use these at my local indoor shooting range because that is all they will allow. Just shooting at paper 25 yards away, you cant really mess this up. I have noticed powder buildup in my simiauto VR 80 after only 60 or so rounds. No malfunctions but the piston stops sliding freely when the bolt locks back. So its a dirty round but great for my use.

  • relatively inexpensive

  • dirty

  • Target shooters

Consistent Round

The Remington rifled slug is consistent shot after shot. This is my go to , looking for a slug that holds a tight grouping this is it!

  • consistent and dependable
Cons:
  • Price (But it's worth it)

Power and accuracy

I purchased the Remington Slugger ammunition for a few reasons. The first was consistently. I trust Remington ammo and have for many years. They group well and perform reliably. Recoil is stout but manageable. They don't water them down. Bottom line, they work.
Pros:
  • Accuracy, consistency, power
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Hunting 25-75 yards
