Most Helpful Positive Review Minor review of Rem. Tactical Choke tube
I needed a Cylinder Choke tube for my Rem. 1100 shotgun. I had already added a Target Barrel with Rem. choke system many years ago. I realized that I had a lot of 12 Ga. Slug Ammo and I did not have a Cyl. choke Tube. When I saw this, I have to buy it. The Choke tube fits great. Now all I have to do is test it. Looks Great, where can a person go wrong. Hope it works as well as it looks.

Bad A?? Cylinder choke tube

by SECURITY64, from CA, United States Written on January 7, 2015
I bought this Choke tube because it looked Soooo kool. It fit and worked like a charm in my Rem. 1100 12 Ga.
As I finally tested it at the range, it worked great. But one thing I would like to recommend, keep checking that it is screwed in all the way. The barrel gets hot and expands. The Choke tube will loosen up.

Great addition to my 870

by Hilge, from TX, United States Written on December 17, 2014
I have purchased several Remington extended chokes for my Remington 780 SureShot. The first was a turkey choke, then came a rifled choke for shooting sabot slugs and now this one in order to shoot rifled slugs, 00 and 000 shot because it is a cyclinder choke.

I have always had a great experience with OpticsPlanet, their sister company DVOR sucks, but Optics Planet maintains a good stock, priced fairy and ships quickly.
Pros:
  • well built
  • easy on and off
  • worth the $$
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • rifled slugs
