This is an elegant and inclusive solution for situations where you would need to mount a weapon light to m-lok.
There are many situations where a modlite body + separate m-lok mount is more advantageous or appropriate (location, hand placement, etc)

Don’t buy this
For $100 you think they would give you a flash light but no but if you read all the way to the end of the description they are nice enough to suggest that you drop 400 on the light itself don’t waste your money on this cheap piece of aluminum
great low profile option
This thing looks great and fits perfectly. It’s about my 4th try to get it right and this one fits the bill. Using a DD rail with a Dbal on top it clears and fits tight. It’s a good option and a good price

durable build
Out of all the mounts I’ve used for lights this is the most robust, possibly bomb proof. Although, with that comes little to no ability to change mounting positions. You can’t flip the mount or swap it from the left to the right side of a rail, in any usable fashion anyway. This is a very, what you see is what you get, kind of mount. Because of its design, it is very rugged. If you want something you can try out different mounting positions or you have a handguard that ends well before your muzzle and you want to minimize muzzle shadow, look into Arisaka or the new Haley Strategic thorntail X mounts. For me, this one works great for my hog rifle and plays well with Unity hot buttons and surefire compatible components.
