Sawfly RX carrier with prescription
I have used many other brands of safety/shooting goggles prior to buying Revision Sawfly Rx carrier with filled prescription.
I am really impressed by how quickly Optics planet filled the order. You said 2 to 3 weeks but did it under 2 weeks !!
Also, i was initially quite worried that Rx carrier might not work with my strong prescription (high astigmatism) but everything turned out great when i used it with Sawfly TX with smoked lens !

Revision Eyewear Sawfly RX Insert for Sawfly
I've ordered two sets of these inserts and on both occasions I received them faster than the 2-3 week time-frame that Optics Planet quotes for delivery. The lab got my prescription correct, but then again mine is simple astigmatism.
These inserts work great with my Sawfly shooting glasses and my sunglasses. There can be some stray reflections under artificial light, when looking outdoors from indoors, and I would imagine the reflections during night-time driving would be annoying. This is probably an unavoidable artifact of looking through two layers of polycarbonate separated by a small air-space. I'm sure all Rx inserts have this problem under certain lighting conditions.
For daylight, outdoor use, these inserts work great. I hunt, shoot skeet and sporting clays, and ride an ATV a lot and these inserts get the job done.
Pros: Easy to clip into glasses
Cons: the only frame color option is grey

A good system
With my large head, it's hard to find any glasses that fit properly, much less protective prescription eyewear. The Sawfly system in the large size works for me, though I wish it were a bit larger. The inserts and OpticsPlanet's lenses do make things a bit crowded behind the main shield, but that's probably the price of keeping things looking more like glasses than big OTG goggles.
For different applications, I plan on purchasing additional frames with different lenses to use with this insert. Kudos to Optics Planet for shipping the Rx inserts ahead of schedule!
