B-Square #42406 for a S&W Model 629 Classic DX
The fitment of the base to the top of pistol is POOR and NONE of the screws provided are threaded to match. The slot on the post nut is also not deep enough to tighten without stripping the slot. Not even close ... it would require machining and add'l parts to make this scope base work! I bought a scope base from Jack Weigand instead that works great. Recommend stainless steel, not aluminum for a 44 magnum.

super redhawk scope mount
scope mount was a little difficult to center on gun and keep flats of washers up and screws tight but once installed seems very solid and tight to gun, mount uses existing notches in top of gun no drilling or removing sights required great idea
