top strap
The top strap that fits over your head has cracked in half on 2 sets now and they were less then a week old. We use simunition and train with marines so durability is a must. these are by far the worst hearing protection I've ever purchased
Pros: cheap
Cons: head frame cracks in half
Possibly defective
When I 1st received the "Rifleman RF-ACH Hearing Protection" I wore them in the house, I did not experience any issues, they did pick up allot of static noise from my computer and traffic out side. 1st time to the range was a different story, they had a terrible voice reverb, it picked up the sound of my breathing that was overpowering and then this high frequency squealing was it for me, 10 minutes at the range and done with these.
Would recommend: No
Great set of hear muffs for the range
I don't go to the range a whole lot so I didn't want to overspend on a set of hearing protection. These are a great pair of ear muffs that adjusted nicely to my head, muffled out the pistol reports at the range, and an affordable price my wallet could tolerate.
Pros:
- Price
- Quality
- Fit
Cons:
- boring color
Best Used for:
- Range
- target practice
Would recommend: Yes
Rifleman ACH
Really like the quality of the unit, especially for the price-good value for the money. The input jack is very handy, and like that there are no wires to snag or pull because each cup has it's own circuit board. They are very slim, and provide adequate protection. I shoot weekly at an indoor range and they work great. No problems. Good value.
Pros:
- Very slim
- no wires to snag
- 2 circuit boards vs 1
Cons:
- green only
Best Used for:
- indoor or outdoor range
Would recommend: Yes
