Decent Trigger
I own multiple RA triggers, so I thought I'd try their component trigger. 100% better than a milspec trigger. Good quality. Smooth action, nice positive reset, but it has a double wall break--and the second wall is not precise. I would say it's still as good as anything else Ive tried in its price r...

Most Helpful Negative Review
Severe downgrade from mil-spec.
This is the worst trigger I have ever felt. It is worse than mil-spec triggers by far. It is roughly machined, completely un-polished, and the timing of the second stage engagement is horrible. At best this is a 3 stage trigger. The second stage of spring pressure has just as much travel as the ...

spend a few bucks more for Larue
Gritty, not crisp. Spend a few bucks more for larue or SOLGW. Only good thing was it was on sale and coupons making it fairly cheap. Otherwise would have returned it.

Worth it for what you pay
I got the flat trigger. When i first installed it, was gritty. Dry fired it about 500x and its smooth now. There is some creep in the 2nd stage. This isn't a Geissele by any stretch, but its definitely an upgrade from mil and is decent for a trigger thats <$80

Creepy second stage
Two stage trigger, second stage is sloppy, not crisp break, should have waited on the Larue.

RA 100 two stage trigger
Install took 30 minutes and even using no slip pins. No issues with fit or finish. Minimum hassle with safety or reassembly! While I haven’t had the opportunity to try the rifle at the range I anticipate no issues with onerous double taps that I experienced with single stage triggers? Onto finishing the upper with a premium barrel!

Trash incarnate
Tons of creep. Even creep approaching the wall. I used a cloth buffing wheel on a milspec trigger from Davidson defense, and It’s leaps beyond this. Incredibly sad it turned out to be a terrible Christmas gift.

Cons:
- everything

Worth it! And easy to install.
A much smoother pull, a better break, and a curved trigger that feels a lot better to my finger--these are some of the advantages of this product. And the price is great! My friend bought TWO of them.

Upgrades to the ol AR
I am very happy with this Rise trigger. It was easy to install and works exactly as advertised. Nice fit and finish. It doesn't look or feel cheap. I plan a drop in on my next build. I'll be buying a Rise, for sure.

Do not buy this JUNK
Would not even drop the hammer. I know I get it, many reviews we are left with the thought, man maybe he just didn't know what he was doing? This is not my first build. I am an engineer, a machinist and I paid my dues for seven years in industrial maintenance. This trigger just was not machined correct. The detent in the hammer was so stiff I almost couldn't get a taper pin through it. Still, it marred the anti-walk pin I was trying to put in rendering it useless. I have bought 7 other drop in Rise triggers and liked them well, especially at a good price point. I believed in them well enough I didn't read the reviews, that's on me. Don't let it happen to you.
Pros:
- None
Cons:
- Didn't function, returned

Great trigger for the price!
I took and chance and bought this despite all the negative reviews about it being gritty. The first stage was initially gritty, while the break and reset are nice and crisp. After a couple magazines through the rifle, the grit completely went away, just needed a little break-in, some "self polishing" lol. For $79 it now feels like a $200 2-stage trigger. Very happy with it.
Pros:
- High quality, light & crisp (after break-in)
Cons:
- Need to break-in

All around awful trigger
Wish I had read the other reviews before purchasing. They're spot on about it being gritty and grinding all the way through the 10 miles of travel you have to endure to use this thing. It's objectively worse than a mil spec trigger
Best Used for:
- The trash
