Hello Big Blue
This is my second Rise Armament trigger. I really like the quality they offer while keeping prices reasonable.
The blue finish on the housing is really nice, almost wish I had a skeletonized receiver to show it off more.
As for the function, this trigger delivers just like my original Rise trigger.
I like that the trigger bow on this model is not as curved as my RA-140, but is not completely "flat" either.
Little differences like polished engagement surfaces really make a noticeable change in the feel of the pull.
Overall, this is an excellent single stage trigger for the money and worth the little bit extra over the RA-140.

Read if you trigger is not resetting properly. Great trigger though.
Pros:
Trigger is crisp, light, and has a strong wall and sharp reset. Great upgrade for the price. I went with the flat one and love it.

Quit Working Within 30 Rounds
Bought two of these and put them in two different AR-15s.
Both failed to fire numerous times within 30 rounds being fired.
At times, when the trigger failed to operate and you lifted your finger off the trigger, it would fire.
Unsafe fore sure.

Great trigger at a very reasonable price
I own several ARs with aftermarket triggers and the RA - 240 works as well as some costing twice as much. Try one of these - you'll be happy

Trigger AR 15
The trigger was suppose to be everything need to drop in however all 4 pin retention screws were missing. Would not recommend.

Rise RA-240 trigger
Dropped in perfectly. Nice clean break, crisp and smooth. I really wanted the Rise Iconic but couldn't afford it. This was my second choice and I am happy with it. Plus it's made just down the road here in Broken Arrow Oklahoma.

Super smooth pull and great performance
I installed this on my Bushmaster 5.56/.223 replacing the factory trigger. The pull is so smooth and soft it was surprising to. After shooting the factory trigger for a decade this one was an amazing improvement. I wish I had bought a new trigger was earlier. I am going to definitely be buying more RISE Armament triggers for current and future firearms purchases.

Excellent drop in trigger
Was recommended by friend and pointed me to Opitcs having a good price for it. Have run several hundred rounds through the build and it worked flawlessly. It was simple to install only put the pins and it does not get much easier or smother than this.

Trigger stopped working after 1 week of light use. Dead trigger, doesn't reset.
During live fire it will fire the chambered round but won't fire the next. It ejects the spent case and chambers the next but will not fire again. I manually ejects the live round, loads it back into mag and manually chamber it again, same thing, pull the trigger, cycles and trigger is dead

YOU WILL NEVER GO BACK!
After you experience how the Rise Armament functions, you will never go back to a mil- spec trigger again. I have them on all my AR's. Why spend more? This is a great trigger!

I just installed my new OpticsPlanet Exclusive RISE Armament RA-240 Enhanced Rifle Trigger in my new Springfield armory SA-15. Previously I had installed the same trigger in my S&W M&P 15-22. In both cases the trigger was easy to install and it worked perfectly. The improvement in the feel and motion of the trigger is phenomenal!! The trigger pull weight is half of what the stock trigger was, all of the take-up was gone, the break is clean, and the reset is very short & quick. I can't imagine a better improvement for an AR-15!!!
