Most Helpful Positive Review First Look At This Scope
First Look At This Scope For transparency, I am a Riton ProStaffer, however that does not mean I will skew reviews. I stand by the Riton brand. I wouldn’t be a ProStaffer if i didn’t. I have the Riton MOD 5 6-24x50, the MOD 7 4-20x50 and the X3 6-24x50. I am a Special Forces Qualified Sniper and I...

First Riton Optic

by RidgeRunner762, Verified Owner from GA, United States Written on October 16, 2022
I have been in long range competitive shooting for the last 20 plus years. I have been using NF optics on all of my precision platforms.
I decided to try a Riton based on a couple of buddies positive feedback. I bought the CX3 Conqurer 6-24X56 MRAD MPSR reticle and couldn't be more satisfied. I was shooting a local Sniper match recently with distances only from 225 yards out to 525 yards with small targets and from improvised positions.
I put this optic on a 18" Colt DMR Rifle in 5.56. I was using holdovers and was impressed with the clarity, adjustability, and tracking. Needless to say for the money I highly recommend it, so much so I bought a X7 Conqurer 4-32X56 FFP MRAD with a PSR reticle that I put on a PWS MK216 7.62. which is a SUB MOA Rifle. With their warranty also what's not to like.
Pros:
  • Clarity
  • Construction
  • Adjustability
  • Positive adjustments, excellent glass quality
  • Tracking, adjustibility for zero parralax
Cons:
  • Haven't discovered any
Best Used for:
  • Hunting & long range shooting
  • Hog
  • Long Range / Precision

Awesome Optic!

by Dallas, Verified Owner from KY, United States Written on September 18, 2021
I have several expensive optics and would Put this up against any of them. My viper, night force, and Nikon's are great but for the money this rides right with them. I bought 2 and both of them are perfect. Super tight, awesome clicks, and beautiful glass. The ret is one of the best ffp I have as well. The great part about this optic is you can actually use it without worrying about banging it up or scratching it. Lol. All around great for the price. My only issue is the eye relief and parallax. But i cannot complain for the money.
Pros:
  • None
Cons:
  • Parallax and eye relief

Perfect scope to learn new skills

by Kalashpoint, from AL, United States Written on March 3, 2021
Disclaimer: Riton Prostaff member.
This was my first step into MRAD scopes, and I was pleasantly surprised. I was a little nervous, especially since I spent 5-10 minutes zeroing the scope, and two days later went to my first NRL22 competition match. Center dot is very fine and non invasive. And the reticle match my calculation for holdovers and compensating for wind. The parallax and magnification knobs are very smooth, and the windage and elevation turrets are very tactile and audible. The value for money makes for a very capable optic to do work, at a working mans budget.

Riton x3 6-24x50mm riflescope

by Bob, from TN, United States Written on February 24, 2021
This scope has very good clarity. It was easy to mount on my Bergara B-14 rifle.
The only thing I noticed was that the dial for the illumination is very stiff and hard to turn.
Other than that It is a very nice scope for long distance shooting.
Best Used for:
  • long distance accurate shooting

Riton optics X3 Conquer 6-24x50 Rifle Scope

by MattRod, from TX, United States Written on February 10, 2021
After sighting this scope in on my 6.5 Grendel build this is going to be an absolute blast! For pigs, coyotes, bobcats and other small predator hunting! I’m definitely getting another one for my deer hunting rifle for next season! Clean glass! The parallax works great! Illuminated reticules aren’t my thing but this lights up clean and I’ll probably test it out on some pigs! This scope is all around anything you would ever need for hunting!
Pros:
  • Crisp
  • clean
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Hunting, shooting

Just received

by Kline Miller, Verified Owner from FL, United States Written on February 4, 2021
So far, scope seems solid. Will be used on Rem 700 6.5 Creedmoor. Will have a better evaluation after use. I would have liked a lower power at the low end -~3-4, but since range will be mostly 100 and beyond, should not be an issue.
Pros:
  • Warranty
  • Optics
  • feature rich
  • American Company
  • Good price & product
  • Build construction
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Long range shooting

First Impressions

by DMC, from WA, United States Written on January 30, 2021
I recently purchased this optic and I gotta say, they have made leaps and bounds from their previous (RTS) line of optics and even they were very well made. I love the MPSR illuminated reticle, it is really crisp and clear. The turrets have improved since the previous line of optics as well. Overall it is a great scope and the price point is well below other manufacturers that are of similar quality.

Great sub $500 scope

by Derek, from MT, United States Written on January 14, 2021
I have been shooting with Riton Optics for some time and i will say they nail it with the X3 Conquer 6-24x50. The add features they did to this scope over the Mod 5 Gen 2 is night and day. The Christmas tree recital is a must have and isn't hard to learn on this scope, my son is already hitting out to 700 yard just after one range trip. I would recommend this scope to anybody looking for a great scope to start off in rifle competitions like PRS or NRL.
Pros:
  • good glass
  • Price and warrenty
  • over 20 mils of adjustment
  • Good over all weight
  • Good selection of scope ring in 30mm
  • it has a zero stop
Cons:
  • No sun shade with the optics
Best Used for:
  • PRS
  • NRL
  • Target shooters
  • great scope for beginners

Well, I'm impressed.

by Average Joe, from WI, United States Written on November 14, 2020
I am very pleased with this scope. It is very clear and crisp, with the parallax set correctly. When "shooting the square" with a very accurate gun at 100yards the clicks were right on the money. I also did not have any backlash issues when making a change of a dozen clicks or more then returning to the original setting. For me this scope has the edge in clarity and low light resolution when compared with a Leopold Vx3 of the same objective size and set to the same magnification setting. I have not tried it in conditions that would generally cause lens flare, so I cannot speak to that. I had no issues in changing from 70f (indoors) to 40f (outdoors) and back. It hasn't been cold enough for a serious temperature test...yet.

The illumination controls are quite stiff. Not an issue for me as I don't expect to use them much if at all. Something to be aware of though if you do intend to use it that way.

Bottom line, I am quite impressed with this scope. Especially for the price. Riton will definitely be on my list when it is time for a new scope.
