Great first impression - Riton Optics X3 Conquer 6-24x50mm Rifle Scope 30mm Tube First Focal Plane

So I’ve always been a Vortex guy, and I still buy their stuff. However I am definitely going to be purchasing several more products in perpetuity from Riton. Wow! That’s just what I said when I looked at it from 4-16 power. There was some slight chromatic aberration at 24 power but it was a windy as heck and hazy day so I was shooting faster than normal and I didn’t have my parallax (which is unnumbered) set. Dial in the parallax to your liking and the quick focus eye piece and boom, clear as day. It doesn’t really ease into the view. Once you got it, boom it hits you with a clear picture. It’s hard to describe you’d just have to see it. The power adjustment ring is very smooth and the windage and elevation knobs are tactile and can be easily heard. The illumination knob took some getting used to being on the same knob as the parallax but I never use illumination anyways so on/off works for me haha! As I said I was an infantryman and I’ve seen some pretty darn good optics just from shooting a lot. I’ve been behind the popular Razor LHT and Leupolds and I like this Riton the same. I wish it were 34 mm tube but that does come with the X5 and the 30mm tube does not take anything away from this optic. You will be happy you purchased this, whether for hunting, Precision, or range work it’s going to meet your needs I promise. I don’t leave reviews often.
