Wow…. Finished my completely custom Glock 45 MOS build in a black & gold color scheme. Really thought the Gold PVD threaded barrel was the way to go. This specific build is my ONLY “safe queen” with only about 100/150ish rounds through it. Always lubricated with high grade G96 gun oil ONLY (which is also what I use on my entire extensive collection of firearms, from pistols to PCC’s to rifles with absolutely no issues, especially not like this!). The gold PVD coating on the barrel is literally flaking off, you can actually wipe it with a microfiber cloth and gold particles will end up sticking to the cloth! Totally let down after all the hype in the forums about the Glock rival barrel upgrades.. I’m really hoping this isn’t normal QC or Rival standards & that I may have gotten one from a bad batch. Another minor complaint is that the thread protector doesn’t have an o-ring and just rides off while shooting, but that I can deal with. It’s the terrible coating job that’s unacceptable for the price point of this item and brands reputation. I do not recommend this barrel to anyone that’s going for a build that’s meant to be on the “Gucci” side of things and are worried about “looks” because of how horrible the peeling looks. I’m not one for leaving bad reviews but this was a huge let down and I had to be honest.

I guess their was a rush when producing these barrels that quality control went by the waist side. It’s supposed to be riffled 1:10 twist / 6 groove, but the barrel is completely smooth inside and looks the manufacturer never finished the job. Waiting on a return label for a bout a week already and nothing yet. I just hope they have more in stock because I would hate to have to wait another 5 months to get one!
