I wanted to pick up a good pair of NVG's but also wanted thermal fusion integrated in with Gen 3 Tubes. So I had some 2,500+ FOM Elbit tubes installed in this housing and so far have been very impressed. The night vision is super clear and then you can flip on the thermals and see right through foliage and distant subjects that you would never see with the night vision alone. In addition you have the GPS built right in with compass and other info on the screen. This is definitely the way of the future, as far as I know the best available for the money until more options come out.
