Sensor died within 30 days of purchase
My unit stop functioning within 30 days of purchase. It’s not the first new unit to have issues either straight out of the box.
RIX advertises a 5-year warranty, but I would encourage prospective buyers to look beyond the warranty length and read actual customer experiences with the RMA process.
In my experience, warranty claims often do not resolve the issue on the first attempt. Instead, they can involve multiple rounds of shipping the unit back and forth before a satisfactory resolution is reached. Even when a replacement is eventually provided, it may not meet expectations for what most customers would consider a true replacement.
A warranty is only as good as the service behind it. Based on my experience, I do not have confidence in RIX’s ability to efficiently diagnose and permanently resolve product issues. If long-term reliability and after-sale support are important to you, I would look at other brands before purchasing.
