I bought the 24” 1-8 twist Rock River Varmint upper. Very nice upper. Functions perfect so far. Land all brass at around 3 o’clock. THIS UPPER IS ACCURATE! So far I’ve only shot bullets 68 grains and heavier, but that is why I bought this upper. Loves SMK 77 gr!

20 bull barrel rock river

This upper is absolutely amazing. I got it paired with a rifle length buffer system. Almost no recoil and I can keep a 10-in plate floating in the air at 600 yds rapid firing. Heavy as an ar10 but takes forever to heat up

Rock River 20in 5.56 varmint/target AR upper

Circumstances have prevented me from using this upper yet. Workmanship is good, fit is near perfect and Rock River has an excellent track record. So I have every reason to expect it to shoot well. Optics Planet's service is always impeccable.
