I purchased this because it closely resembled the Crye Precision JPC but at a fraction of the price.
With my last deployment pending, I decided to purchase this plate carrier because it so closely resembled the CRYE Precision JPC. Several others purchased the CRYE at nearly $300.00 but since it is the plates that actually do the protecting I decided to skip the big price tag. This is my last deployment and I will almost certainly NOT be in harm's way so why spend the extra $ on a name brand.
The fit was very tight but I did get the plates in the vest. Once all the pouches are added it really looks like the CRYE. The carrier is very adjustable so it can be custom fit.
I certainly hope it holds up as well as CRYE products do but only time will tell on that.
