This style of parka was, and still is, the single most consistent part of the Mod wardrobe. I always wished I had kept better track of my rally patch covered original, and this brings back good times. Not made of as heavy a fabric as the original, and the liner is a little shorter (seems like a good fit for the M65 Field Jacket). Probably not going to be my go- to cold weather ride jacket like the original with the GI liner. It looks and fits just like the original in every other way. Cost wise, it's almost identical in inflation adjusted dollars as they were in 1983. Vintage originals are getting pricier, and in worse wear. And face it, your not going to fool anyone into thinking you were part of the early 80's Mod Revival in an original if you're under 55. Mod Life Crisis? You'll look better in this than in the old shark- skin suit you wore 40 years and 40 pounds ago.
