Great fit excellent design for my EDC rain jacket or winter jacket

Hate that I can't find something in my size easily, made in USA. Have been looking at these and many others for last three years, finally broke down to stay warm! Quality: typically china,hood made to large&heavy,rolls into collar and causes collar to be stiff and to lg. NO hand pockets, poor design choice.Room for more pockets on inside for such as CCW,ect. Went through and melted/sealed all threads. Wish zipper was better quality with a weather and wind cover strip.

I was skeptical of purchasing this jacket to replace my old one. I purchased two jackets (Black and Brown) and found them to be extremely comfortable expecially since I am a big person and many clothes do not fit well. There are a number of pockets which make carrying individual items accessible and convenient. Items such as knives, matches, flashlights, etc can be stored individually for easy access. The two front pockets are placed a little high on the jacket which I found I like especially while in the car as they are more accessible. There is a small band inside the pockets which while this is not specifically a gun-coat allow storing a compact firearm (5 shot 38 caliber) very nicely for easy access without printing.
Overall, this jacket is very good without any further winter clothing to high 30's degree Fahrenheit. With the Rothco hoodie I also purchased it is easily comfortable into the high 20's to low 30's.
The adjustable sleeves are great as well. Great jacket for everyday use especially the black one for somewhat more formal situations. The hood feels slightly bulky but I find it convenient since during weather with a cold wind it really keeps your neck worm. It is also convenient when in use. Easy to remove if you choose to do so. Not a real problem though.

I expected a picket to be able to carry. I have a small sig p365 and there is no pocket that works well. The only pockets large enough are only lined with mesh which isn't strong enough to guarantee the gun won't break thru

Bought this for hunting in the rain, used this jacket out hunting and it rained the entire time. It kept me dry and warm. When the hood is rolled up and zipped away it felt like I had a life jacket on or a really uncomfortable neck pillow. I wear 2XL shirts and was worried about buying a jacket in the same size but even with layers clothing underneath I still had room to maneuver. Only reason it’s not a 5 star is the hood.

The hood is rolled into the jacket's neck, so it is exceptionally voluminous. This does not allow the main zipper to get closed in the neck's area. Size fits perfect in other aspects. Most features described in the website are true.

SIZE RUNS BIG.

I am a big guy; long arms. Always have to go 2XL on shirts and jackets. NOT ON THIS JACKET!

The arms on the 2XL were a good 4 inches too long for me. Exchanging for an XL. Be aware when placing your order.

Otherwise, great jacket. The armpit zippers in particular are great for shoulder rig access.

Jacket is well made and has great functional designs and I personally like the reach through pocket. It is difficult to wear the hood wrapped up inside the collar if you have a thicker neck. However you can remove the hood and store it and then the issue is resolved.

The hood is quit large...which is good for heavy rain. The fits really well. It's a heck of alot hotter than I expected it to be. The front pockets are a little high. Overall, it's a really nice coat.
