Ruger AICS magazine
I bought these as an upgrade for my Ruger American “Go Wild” Rifle in 6.5CM. The factory magazine only holds 3 rounds so I was anxious to upgrade. The factory magazine had a finicky fit, but these I bought fit way nicer and easier to load. Even though they are both marked Ruger the new ones seem better for some reason.
works great
I bought for my Ruger American gen 2, chambered in 22 creedmoor, and works great.
Pros:
- Looks great
- holds 10 rounds of 22 creedmoor
- fits perfectly in a Ruger American gen 2
Cons:
- None at all
Would recommend: Yes
works with American Gen 2 7mm-08
This was a spur of the moment buy and I was pleasantly surprised with it.

Ruger 10 round poly mag
My Gunsite Scout came with a metal AI magazine. It woks flawlessly, but Is sort of heavy. I purchased a few extra Ruger 10 Rounder poly mags. These work just as well. The Ruger poly mag is light weight and smaller than the steel original. The Ruger poly mag is superior because of the thin lips and cover. The cover protects the insides and ammo from dirty while carried in a rig. I’m a fan of Magpul, but this is one instance where Ruger has the edge. These are a bot on the pricy side.

ruger magazine
For some reason new fugers are coming with magpul mags now instead of ruger mags .
The ruger mags are a much better fit plus easier to install and remove.
Unlike the magpul magazines nothing against magpul there great but the ruger mags just work better in ruger rifles.
