BE CAREFUL
Screws that come with the mount are to long, and the directions say to trim them down. Also the screws only have about .06 of an inch worth of threads to grab, and will strip extremely easy!!!!!!!!!!!
Works as described
I put this plate on a Ruger 57 with the intention of mounting a Vortex Viper red dot. The plate was easy to install. Optics planet got the item fast with no issues. The only caveat is if you are mounting the same set up your screws that come with the Viper are too long and bottom out on the slide. I called Vortex and they had a set of screws sent out same day. Not a plate issue.

Ruger mounting plate
Bought this to mount a Vortex Viper red dot. Plate mounts the Viper but thevright length screws for the Viper were not provided. Luckily had some left over from another red dot that worked.

Too thin to work
Mount material is too thin to have enough threads for a secure fastening. Sometimes more is more. Light weight is good, but not at the price of the product doing its job. More attention to the purpose of the product was needed

Definitely a headache
Please just check your screw length. The venom vortex screws are to long but the Burris screws worked just fine. Seems the left screw bottomed out on the slide but not the right side. It was super easy as well makes me question the "aircraft aluminum" quality. Good luck
