Ruger rings

I have only ruger rifles...partly because of the ring configuration. I am able to lower a 3x9 scope next to the barrel. Only caution I have is that the torx screws tend to loosen. Need to be checked frequently. I suppose Locktite is an option.

Scope Rings for Ruger # 1
I recently purchased a Ruger # 1 rifle which came with size 5K scope rings. With the scope mounted using the 5K Ruger scope Rings l was not satisfied with the distance between the scope and barrel. Therefore, I purchased the Ruger 3K Rings and they work great. All Ruger products are well made and the price for these rings sold by Optics Planet were the most competitive I could find on the web.
